Welcome Back!

This is our system carrd!

We are a DID system! We are bodily an adult, mixed/white-presenting, and intersex. We are multiply disabled (physically, neurologically, and psychologically). We collectively identify as queer and genderfluid; we go by they/them pronouns. We’ve been aware of our system since 2016 and we are medically recognized but unable to afford/pursue diagnostic screening at this time.

We are both introject heavy and trauma holder heavy. We use “I” and “we” interchangeably; we generally use “I” when an alter (usually the host) is talking about themselves and “we” when referring to us collectively. We accept both “multiple” and “plural.” We don’t use the ampersand (&) after pronouns and we ask that you don’t, either.

We chose our system name because we’ve cycled through so many, and no matter how serious we presented ourselves about our DID, our symptoms, and our trauma, we’ve still been fakeclaimed by both singlets and systems. So, at this point, might as well make light of it.

Polyfragmented (PF-DID)

Polyfragmented DID systems, or “polyfrag” for short, are systems with more complex presentation (bigger splitting/fronting patterns, detailed and active inner world, internal structures like layers and subsystems, greater propensity for co-fronting/co-consciousness) along with a high alter count (usually fragments); a 100+ alter count isn’t necessary to be polyfrag. This type of system is the result of severe abuse being integrated into a child’s day-to-day life at an early age, making it difficult to rely on non-dissociative coping mechanisms; polyfragmentation is something you are, not something you can become just through splitting, hence the emphsais on complexity rather than alter count. Also known as complex DID (C-DID).

Installed (I-DID)

Installed DID systems are systems who are in-between C-DID and HC-DID. Their complexity is the result of extreme trauma, but more so OEA (organized extreme abuse) + amateur programming as opposed to RAMCOA/TBMC. It’s a community term for people who went through the kind of abuse HC-DID systems went through, but do not relate to the label due to incomplete progging.

Highly Complex (HC-DID)

Highly complex DID systems are systems who went through RAMCOA (ritual abuse, mind control, organized abuse) and TBMC (trauma/torture-based mind control) programming, resulting in severe DID; could also entail DHMC (drug/hypnosis mind control). Their complexity is the result of sadistic people purposefully creating their systems while they were children (before the ages of 5-8) as a means of controlling them. Also known as mind controlled DID (MC-DID).

Fractaline DID

This is less a modifier atm and more a description of a type of HC-DID system. Fractaline programming, also known as Sigma programming, is a type of programming that causes a system to split continuously (sometimes daily) without additional trauma/torture being applied; this leads to extreme polyfragmentation with system headcounts in the millions or even billions. This is to create instability within a system, induce self-destructive behaviors, make them more susceptible to manipulation/control, and increase the likelihood of successful progs.

Why use these modifiers?

All of these are applicable to our system in some way. We’ve gone through non-RAMCOA traumas since we were <3, and this adds to preexisting complexity within our system. We’ve gone through OEA and amateur programming at the hands of our main abusers, and we’ve gone through RAMCOA and TBMC/DHMC programming by people within the group(s) they were associated with. We have an undeterminable headcount of both known alters and fragments, but we’ve estimated having fragments in the billions because of the decade’s worth of RAMCOA we went through along with ongoing decades’ worth of traumatization we still go through. We don’t feel we identify with one particular modifier, and we don’t feel comfortable coming up with a new one for our personal comfort, as we don’t want anyone to feel alienated in return. This is just to give context as to what our system has endured in 25+ years.

For our safety, we aren’t going to list our alters publicly. Due to many of them being either introjects from scrutinized sources or severely traumatized, we feel as uneasy publicly listing them as we would any switch triggers. We are creating a password-protected carrd for them, but only trusted people can access them. Even though we want to make friends, both with respectful singlets and other adult-bodied systems, please don’t take it personally if it takes us a long time to trust you with that. Thank you.
